MRS. LANDLE'S DELIGHT. Scottish, Strathspey. E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The air has been attributed to Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831) but appears in Malcolm McDonald's (of Dunkeld) Second Collection, dedicated to the Earl of Breadalbane. MacDonald was the bass player in Gow's band at the time and may possibly have heard him play the melody.
