Back to Eunice Two-Step

EUNICE TWO-STEP. AKA - "Two Step de Eunice." AKA and see "Jolie Catin (2)." Cajun, Two-Step. A well-known traditional Cajun dance tune named for Eunice, Louisiana, home of the Yambilee Festival. The tune is from Amédé Ardoin, a black accordion player who recorded in the 1930's. Ardoin is now considered a seminal figure in the development of Zydeco music. "Love Bridge Waltz" is a triple-time setting of the melody.
