TYNAGH JIG, THE (Port Tineatha). AKA and see "Delaney's Jig.” “Leitrim Jig (3) (The).” Irish, Double Jig (6/8 time). D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Paul de Grae notes the alternate title, “Delaney's Jig,” refers to Ballinasloe piper Denis Delaney. Flute player Mike Rafferty called the jig “Lambert's Jig (2).” See also the related “Jackson's Silver Mines.”
