20th OF MAY, THE. AKA - "Twentieth of May." AKA and see "Favorite (6) (Hornpipe) (The)," "Wedding Ring (6) (The)." English, Hornpipe (2/4 time). The tune was printed in the early 1770's in London by the Thompson's under the title "Favorite (6) (Hornpipe) (The)," and later, in 1780 as "Wedding Ring (6) (The)."
