CROALL'S. Scottish, Strathspey. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. Composed by the great Scots fiddler-composer J. Scott Skinner (1843-1927), named in honor of Croall's famous String Quartet of Edinburgh. Skinner also dedicated his "Les Trois Grands Luthiers" (referencing Amati, Stradivarius and Guarnerius) to the quartet.
