EARL BLEY'S JIG. New England, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Earl Bley. Randy Miller (2004) notes that Bley was born in 1905 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and, according to his son, began his professional career on the violin at age 16. Bley also played the piano and was a conductor of the Worcester Brigade Band.
