FOURTH OF JULY. Old-Time, Fiddle Tune. The tune was recorded under this title for the Library of Congress by musicologist/folklorist Vance Randolph in the early 1940's from Ozark Mountain fiddlers. It may or may not be the Georgia Yellow Hammers 1927 song "Fourth of July at a Country Fair."
