H. MARTINI'S FAVORITE MINUET. AKA - "Martini's Minuet.", Minuet. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABC. The melody appears in a large number of late 18th century music publications and musicians' manuscripts, beginning with Charles and Samuel Thompson's Compleat Tutor for the Hautboy (London, 1770). The piece has been attributed to Italian composer Giovanni Battista Martini [1] (1706-1784).
