HAVE YOU SEEN MY VALENTINE? ("An faica to mo balantine?" or "A bfaca tu mo bhalentine"). Irish, Slow Air (3/4 time). E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. O'Neill's tune is identical to Belfast collector Edward Bunting's "A bfaca tu mo bhalentine". Paul de Grae identifies this air as a variant of "Raibh Tú ag an gCarraig? (An)" (Have You Been at Carrick?). O'Neill (1903) also prints a major-mode variant as "Charming Fair Maid (The)]."
