HUMOURS OF CUFFE STREET, THE. AKA and see "Cuffe Street," "Humors of Tufts Street." Irish, Reel. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Cuffe Street is in Dublin, built in the 18th century. It is named for the Cuff family, who were relatives of the Aungiers, Lord Arran, the son of the powerful Duke of Ormonde. The tune is a member of the "Reel of Bogie (1) (The)" family of dorian-mode tunes, related primarily in the first strain.
