IRISH TROT [2]. AKA and see "I'm Bubbled." AKA - "Irish Troll (An)." English, Jig. England; Yorkshire, East Anglia. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is the vehicle for Air 18 in act I of John Gay's Beggar's Opera (1729), which begins: "I'm bubbled, I'm bubbled." Irish violinist R.M. Levey printed it in his first collection of Irish dance tunes (1858), with the curiously altered title "An Irish Troll."
