Composed by Aberdeenshire fiddler-comoser biography:Alexander Walker for Mr. Alexander Wattie who was a drummer in the Castle Newe band of musicians; Walker worked at Castle Newe as a gardener and probably was the leader of "The Castle Newe Band."
