MRS. CHRISTIE. Scottish, Strathspey. A Mixolydian (Gow, Manson, McLachlan): A Dorian (Athole, Kerr). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Credited to Aberdeenshire fiddler-composer biography:William Marshall (1748–1833) by McGlashan and Gow. The tune is similar to the triple-time jig "Cailleach an fhraoich" (more so in the first strains), but the relationship is perhaps not cognate.
