MOLLY PUT THE KETTLE ON [6]. English, Reel. B Flat Major (Button & Whitaker): D Major (Steele). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A version from Button & Whitaker's Selection of Dances, Reels, Waltzes No. 1, an undated London publication from the early 19th century, and Danile Steele's New and Complete Preceptor for the German Flute (Albany, 1815). The tune was printed with country dance instructions.
