SHIPDHAM HORNPIPE, THE. English, Hornpipe (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Recorded by biography:Walter Bulwer (1888-c. 1972), a multi-instrumentalist from Shipdham, Norfolk, England. The ‘A’ part of the tune is shared with “<incipit title="load:break" width=850 link="https://tunearch.org/wiki/Breakdown (The)">Breakdown (The)</incipit>” in Kerr’s Merry Melodies, vol. 4 (c. 1880’s; No. 238).
