TELL HER I AM [3]. AKA and see “Brennan's Favourite,” “Richard Brennan's Favorite.” Irish, Double Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The jig is not "Tell Her I Am" but rather is properly titled "Richard Brennan's Favorite"; it was occasionally called by the "Tell Her I Am" name due to its having been recorded as the second tune in a medley with "Tell Her I Am (1)" in 1936 in New York by County Sligo fiddler Michael Coleman.
Additional notes Source for notated version : - accordion player Johnny O’Leary (Sliabh Luachra region of the Cork-Kerry border), recorded in recital at Na Piobairi Uilleann, November, 1990 [Moylan].
