TRIP TO GERMANY, A. English, Reel (whole time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody was first published in London publisher Charles and Samuel Thompson’s 1765 country dance collection, and later was included by Northumbrian musician William Vickers in his 1770 music manuscript collection.
