G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB’. A Munster variant of the step dance, fling or Highland known as "Maggie Pickens" in the northern counties of the country. There is a dispute about whether the tune is derivied from the Scottish "Whistle o'er the lave o't" or vice-versa.
