FRISKY. English, Reel. England, Northumbrian. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title appears in Henry Robson's list of popular Northumbrian song and dance tunes which he published c. 1800. There are other period tunes that go by the name "Frisky" or "The Frisky," but this particular melody appears unique to Peacock's publication.
