Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. According to a personal communication from fiddler Patrick Ourceau, it was Clare fiddler Junior Crehan who adapted “Tear the Calico (1),” transforming it into the “West Clare Reel.” Compare with County Cork cleric and uilleann piper James Goodman's "What the Devil Ails You (5)."
