WRIGHT'S QUICKSTEP [2]. American, Quickstep (6/8 time). USA, New England. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was in the repertory of Halton "Dick" Richardson, a country dancing master, fiddler and prompter in Vermont and the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire from 1903 until l970. His music had a strong rhythmic drive. He inspired Bob McQuillen and influenced Dudley Laufman; Ralph Page included him among "the best."
