CALABRIA. AKA - "Calibria," "Calabrea." American, English, Scottish; Country Dance and Reel (2/4 or cut time). F Major (Graupner, Lowe): G Major (Riley): D Major (Manson). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Calabria is a region in Italy; the toe of the 'boot'. The provenance of the tune is unknown, however, it was printed in a few British and American musicians' collections as well as in Scottish, American and London-published collections in the early- to mid- 19th century.
