CAN YOU DANCE A TOBACCO HILL. American, Reel. USA, Kentucky. D Major. Standard or ADae tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Can You Dance a Tobacco Hill?" is a reel from the playing of Owen 'Snake' Chapman. A possibly related, although distanced, tune is "Charlie MacLean's Strathspey," from the playing of fiddler Joe Peter MacLean (Rounder 7060, "Back of Boisdale").
