CASTLETOWN CONNERS [1] (Baile-Caislean Uí Concobair). AKA - "Castletown Connors." AKA and see "Condon's Frolic's," "Digging for Gold," "Paddy Carty's Jig," "Thatcher (The)," "Walsh's Jig (2)." Irish, Double Jig. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Named for a town in Limerick. O'Neill (Irish Folk Music) says the tune was "unpublished and new to us." Sometimes the parts are reversed.
