DEVLIN'S. Irish, Jig (6/8 time). B Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was originally recorded (in 1918) by John J. "Dutch" Kimmell, a Brooklyn accordion player of German descent, although steeped in Irish tradition. It was the last tune in a four tune medley consisting of "Three Little Drummers," "Connaughtman's Ramble," "To the Ladies," "Devlin's Favourite." "Siegfried Mulcahy" is a similar jig in the first several measures, but the tunes are not cognate.
