Source for notated version: James O'Neill [O'Neill]. Chicago Police Sergeant James O'Neill was originally from County Down. He was an accomplished fiddler with a large repertoire, and had studied music formally. He acted as Francis O'Neill's (no relation) transcriber and collaborator for his early volumes.
