DONALD McPHERSON'S LAMENT. AKA – "Donald MacPherson's Lament." Scottish, Slow Air (4/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by J. Scott Skinner (1843–1927), the self-proclaimed "Strathspey King." It originally appeared in his Harp and Claymore collection in 1904.
