EVENING SHADE WALTZ. Old-Time, Waltz. The title appears in a list of traditional Ozark Mountains fiddle tunes compiled by Vance Randolph, published in 1954. The tune was recorded in 1930 in the 78 RPM era by Luke Milner and Luke Curtis, a Mississippi fiddle duet, accompanied by the "Magnolia Ramblers".
