FINE KNACKS FOR LADIES. English, Air. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. A peddler's song by one of the greatest composers and musicians of his time, John Dowland. Kines (1964) believes the lyrics to be an expression of his feelings for his homeland during his voluntary exile in Denmark. It appears in his 2nd Book of Airs (1600).
