GRACES [2], THE. Scottish, Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "The Graces [2]" was printed in Thomas Calvert's 1799 Collection of Marches & Quick Steps, Strathspeys & Reels. Calvert was a musician from Kelso, Scotland, and a note with the collection states that Calvert supplied "a variety of music and instruments, instruments lent out, tun'd and repaired."
