The melody was also printed by John Johnson in his 200 Favourite Country Dances, vol. 8 (London, 1758) and James Aird, in Selections of Scotch, English, Irish and Foreign Airs, vol. 1 (Glasgow, 1782, p. 4). It also appears in several musician's manuscript books, including the copybooks of American flute player Henry Beck (1786), Luther Kingsley (Mansfield, Conn., 1795 to about 1815), and Edward Murphy (Newport, RI?, 1790). Later County Cork uilleann piper and Church of Ireland cleric wikipedia:James_Goodman_(musicologist) (1828-1896) entered it into Book 2 of his large mid-19th century music manuscript collection, copied from Aird's 1782 volume. It can also be found in the mid-19th century collections of John Rook (Cumbria) and biography:John Roose (Manchester, England).
