GULLANE POLKA [1]. AKA and see "Guillane (The)," "Sliabh Luachra (The)." Irish, Polka(s). Ireland; Sliabh Luachra region of the Cork-Kerry border, Kenmare. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Often played in a medley with "Gullane Polka (2)", known collectively as the "Gullane Polkas," although source O'Leary paired #1 with "Jack Sweeney's." Gullane is a hamlet just outside of the west Kerry border town of Rathmore.
