HORNPIPE BY MORGAN [1]. English, Hornpipe. England, Northumberland. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is printed with only two sharps in Vickers' original manuscript [1]. The melody is one of three unnamed hornpipes attributed to 'Morgan' in the manuscript. One named tune, "Shuttler's Hornpipe" is also attributed to Morgan, about whom nothing is known.
