HULL'S VICTORY [2]. American; Reel. USA, Maine. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Bronner): AABB' (Phillips). A variation of "Hull's Victory (1)." The source for this version, Alanson Mellen Dunham [1] (1853-1931), was a Maine fiddler who won Henry Ford's national old-time fiddler's contest in 1925, and was subsequently promoted by him in recordings and concerts all over the country.
