A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. As "Jackson's Coggie in the Morning" the tune appears in O'Farrell's Pocket Companion for the Irish or Union Pipes (c. 1811). The first part appears derivative of "Behind the Bush in the Garden (1)." Samuel Bayard thought "Blooming Meadows (1)" to be a variant.
