Irish, Single Jig. G Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Irish violinist R.M. Levey's "Bunch of Currents (1)" is a major mode setting of the tune, and appears in his first collection of 1858 (No. 38). The melody is quite old and widespread in the British Isles and Ireland; see note for the English and Scottish "annotation:Greensleeves (4)" for more.
