JACK SWEENEY'S [3]. AKA and see "Mairi's Wedding." Irish, Polka. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. A frequently heard polka at Irish sessions (often known under the alternate title) although the tune's origins lie in the Scottish Hebrides. Sweeney was a musician who passed on numerous polkas to a young Johnny O'Leary.
