JENNY BELL('S) POLKA. English, Polka. England, Northumberland. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. A 48-bar polka. Alistair Anderson (1976) says it is a popular polka throughout the North East (England). Peter Kennedy recorded the tune in the 1950's from the playing of Northumbrian piper Jack Armstrong (1904-1978), who had the tune from his father Robert's (also a piper) manuscript collection.
