JERRY HAYES (Diarmaid Ua Aeda). AKA and see "Balkan Hornpipe," "Dunkeld Bridge." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (O'Neill/1850 & 1001): AABB' (O'Neill/Krassen). Francis O'Neill's "Jerry Hayes" is a version of the Scottish composer wikipedia:Niel Gow's reel "Dunkeld Bridge," perhaps by way of Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883) where another cognate melody was printed as "Balkan Hornpipe" and attributed to 'Hayes'[1].
