MRS. ROSE'S REEL--OF BANFF. AKA - "Mrs. Rose." Scottish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833). Moyra Cowie (The Life and Times of William Marshall, 1999) finds that Mrs. Rose, Isabella Falder, was the wife of a solicitor to the Earl of Fife.
