Additional notes
Source for notated version : - Chicago policeman and fiddler Timothy Dillon [O'Neill]. Dillon was born in 1846 near Newmarket West, County Limerick, and as a boy was taught to play the fiddle by Patrick O'Grady. Dillon was also a noted Irish dancer.
