DON TREMAINE'S REEL. Canadian, American; Reel. Canada, Ontario. D Major. Standard tuning. AABB (Brody, Phillips, Songer): AA'BB' (Kaufman). Composed by Barrie, Ontario, fiddler Graham Townsend, (copyright 1961) and named for the announcer of the CBC television show "Don Messer's Jubilee." The melody is a past favorite at New England contra dances.
