GERMAN SCHOTTISCHE  [3].  AKA and see "Hopp Waltz."   B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB.  The melody was recorded by Aberdeen fiddler-viiolinist James Scott Skinner around 1909 as "German Schottische." The second strain also is shared with the Canadian "Logger's Breakdown."
