HILLSIDE [1], THE. AKA and see "Joe Kennedy's Jig." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The jig was recorded in 1920 in Montreal by violinist/fiddler Percy Scott as the third tune in his "Jig Medley" (Apex 504). Scott was an early Canadian recording artist, sometimes going by the name 'Happy Joe Jenkins' on recordings.
