HUMORS OF GLASSES [1]. Irish, Reel (whole time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Humors of Glasses [1]" is contained in Book 2 of the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of County Cork uilleann piper and Church of Ireland cleric wikipedia:James_Goodman_(musicologist) (1828-1896), who obtained the tune from the Swan Manuscript. Hugh and Lisa Shield find the first strain of Goodman's "Think on me" comparable and also cite O'Neill's "Skibbereen Lasses (The)" (MOI, No. 469), also cognate in the first strain only. Another tune called "Humors of glasses (2)" was entered into volume 3 of Goodman's manuscripts, but it is not musically related.
