JAMES LISHMAN'S HORNPIPE. English, Hornpipe (cut time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This untitled hornpipe is contained in Book 13 of the Browne Family manuscripts, a collection of musicians' copybooks in several hands. Book 13 is thought to include some of the work of James Lishman, and his name was bestowed upon the tune by Chris Partington.
