JIM CROW QUADRILLE [3].   AKA and see "Cats in the Village," "Con Cassidy's Jig (2)," "French Reaper (The)," "Garçon Volage Quadrille (1) (La)," "Lea Castle," "Nine Pins (1)," "Queen Victoria's Country Dance," "Sligo Quadrille No. 2," "Turfahun Barndance (The)." English, Quadrille (6/8 time).  G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC.  The tune is one of five quadrille parts variously in duple or triple time entered in the c. 1860's music manuscript collection of William Tildesley of Swinton, Lancashire.  The tune was popular under several titles in Britain and Ireland.  The first strain is shared with "Dingle Regatta," and the second strain is related although more divergent.
