LADY MURRAY'S REEL [1]. AKA - "Lady Murrey's real." AKA and see "Lucy Campbell (1)." English, Reel. England, Northumberland. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune under this title appears to be unique to William Vickers' 1770 music manuscript collection. Researcher and Northumbrian piper Matt Seattle believes it may be of Scottish origin, however, as Fr. John Quinn finds, the "Lady Murray's Reel" is a variant of the first two parts of "Lucy Campbell's (1)."
