MISS McPHEARSON'S REEL. AKA and see "Miss Gordon of Cairnfield’s Reel." Scottish, Reel (2/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Fr. John Quinn finds that Howe's "Miss McPhearson's Reel" is really a William Marshall composition called "Miss Gordon of Cairnfield’s Reel," published in 1781.
