MRS. M'GHIE/McGEE('S REEL). AKA - "Mrs. MacGhie's Reel." Scottish, Jig (6/8 time). G Dorian (Glen, Riddell): G Major/Mixolydian (Cranford). Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Glen, Riddell): AABB' (Cranford). John Glen (1891) finds the earliest appearance of this tune in print in the blind fiddler of Ayr, biography:John Riddell's, 1766 first collection (p. 28).
